Create situations and then rush in to save people from them. This does not make you a hero. Does it make you a great strategist? Not if it is so nakedly and aggressively done.
There has a to be a point where you look at the way the event is framed in the narrative and the way that squares with the actions carried out, and you have to look at the dissonance therein.
